Manx Telecom´s BroadForward Next Generation Diameter Signaling Controller (DSC) has gone into operation to enable the launch of 4G data roaming services and support Manx Telecom´s service innovation plans, the company said.
The availability of 4G data roaming services coincided with the start of the TT, a motorcycle sport event on the Isle of Man attracting thousands of fans annually.
Manx Telecom operates both fixed and mobile multimedia networks for subscribers and corporate clients, both on the Isle of Man and across the world.
BroadForward provides signaling interworking and routing for 2G, 3G, 4G/LTE, IMS, Fixed, Wi-Fi and M2M networks. BroadForward´s BFX interface gateway is the next generation signaling solution.
