UK-based cloud company iomart (AIM:IOM) said it has made a range of managed public cloud services available on the UK government´s newly released G-Cloud 7 procurement framework.
Managed AWS, Managed Azure and Managed Office 365, supported by accredited iomart technicians, are now available to local and central government organisations via the Digital Marketplace. Public sector organisations can maximise all the features and benefits of public cloud using the support infrastructure and expertise of iomart.
iomart also offers public, private and hybrid cloud services via its Pan Government Accredited (PGA) CloudSure platform, assessed as suitable for data to OFFICIAL level. Fast, scalable, resilient and fully redundant, CloudSure is built on VMware VSphere in a high availability configuration across iomart´s network of UK data centres. Self or fully managed and supported 24 x7, the services give public sector organisations flexible on-demand access to compute resources.
iomart has been on the G-Cloud framework since 2012 and has expanded its range of services to the public sector over time to cover Lots 1, 2 and 3 for Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) as well as Lot 4 for Specialist Cloud Services.
