Malaysia Airlines has announced its first codesharing pact with LATAM Airlines, extending its reach into South America, the company said.
The Malaysian carrier will codeshare on LATAM-operated flights from points in Australia and New Zealand to Santiago, and LATAM will codeshare on Malaysia-operated flights to Kuala Lumpur.
The route marks the first international service to be operated out of Kertajati. Before this, the schedules data indicated that Kertajati had only handled domestic flights to eight Indonesian destinations.
Kertajati becomes Malaysia Airlines´ seventh destination in Indonesia after Jakarta, Denpasar, Medan, Pekanbaru, Surabaya, and Solo.
