Lumos Networks Corp. (Nasdaq: LMOS), a fiber-based service provider in the Mid-Atlantic region, has announced its results for the first quarter of 2017, the company said.
Total revenue for the first quarter of 2017 was USD 54.9m, up 8% from the prior year period.
The company generated an operating loss of USD 1.6m for the three months ended March 31, 2017, down from operating income of USD 3.1m in the prior year period.
Net loss attributable to Lumos Networks Corp. was USD 5.3m, or USD 0.24 per diluted share, for the first quarter of 2017, compared to a net loss of approximately USD 2.9m in the prior year period. Total Adjusted EBITDA for the first quarter was USD 23.9m, up over 3% from the prior year period.
Lumos Networks offers end-to-end connectivity in 26 markets in Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio and Kentucky. With a fiber network of 10,907 fiber route miles and 503,616 total fiber strand miles, Lumos Networks connects 1,306 unique Fiber to the Cell sites, 1,663 total FTTC connections, 2,125 on-net buildings and over 3,400 total on-net locations.
