Germany based airline Lufthansa Group has announced it has firmed orders on 24 Airbus A320neos and three A321neos, scheduled for delivery in 2023 and 2024, the company said.
The order brings to 149 the total number of A320neo jets to which the group has firmly committed. Lufthansa already has 13 A320neos in service, Flight Fleets Analyzer shows.
Ten of the 27 newly firmed aircraft are intended for Swiss, says Lufthansa.
Some of the aircraft will be powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines and some with CFM International Leap-1As, says Lufthansa, without giving a split.
Deutsche Lufthansa AG, commonly known as Lufthansa, when combined with its subsidiaries, also the largest airline in Europe both in terms of fleet size and passengers carried during 2017.
