LifePort designs, delivers floors for use in search, rescue operations.

LifePort, a Sikorsky company, has designed and delivered a sea floor that seals an entire S-92® cabin being utilized for search and rescue (SAR) missions, the company said.

The unique floor layout allows for the installation of seats, a LifePort Stacking Litter System (SLS) and an internal auxiliary fuel tank. Sikorsky is a Lockheed Martin Company (NYSE: LMT).

LifeGard is a protective coating pioneered by LifePort for use in utility and armored flooring. Utility versions for medical, SAR, and offshore applications are sprayed on to a full size mold of the aircraft floor and reinforced with various substrate materials. The floors are custom-designed around specific customer requirements and are in service around the world.

Sikorsky, based in Stratford, Connecticut, provides aircraft design, manufacture and service.
