LeoSat, Globalsat Group ink HTS worldwide network agreement

LeoSat Enterprises has agreed with the Globalsat Group to market a high throughput satellite (HTS) data network, the company said.

Through this agreement, LeoSat will provide the Globalsat Group with access to infrastructure for the Globalsat LEO Network, based on a high performance architecture pairing the speed of fiber with the ubiquity of satellite, and the Globalsat Group will provide LeoSat with access to the Americas market, leveraging its extensive presence and experience.

LeoSat´s new system of low earth orbit communications satellites can deliver lower latency and stronger end-to-end security compared to traditional satellite and terrestrial solutions used today.

Based in Washington DC, LeoSat Enterprises was established in 2013 to leverage the latest developments in satellite communications technologies to develop and launch a new low-earth-orbit satellite constellation which will provide the first commercially available, business grade, extremely high-speed and secure data service worldwide.

Globalsat Group provides Pan-American satellite service.
