LATAM operates 115 special flights to repatriate 16,385 travelers

LATAM Airlines Group has announced that, in cooperation with affiliates, it has operated 115 special flights to date as part of its repatriation program, the company said.

With government support, the program has facilitated the repatriation of 16,385 passengers who have not been able to complete their journeys due to border closures and other travel restrictions in response the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic.

LATAM will offer at least another 10 repatriation flights planned, enabling passengers to return to Latin America from around the world, including: Miami-Lima, Guayaquil-Santiago, Johannesburg-São Paulo/Guarulhos, Sydney-Santiago and Frankfurt-Santiago.
