L3Harris Technologies Celebrates Contributions During EWeek

L3Harris Technologies (NYSE:LHX) employees around the world are celebrating National Engineers Week (EWeek) by participating in more than 100 events, across more than 50 locations, focused on innovation and engaging the next generation of innovators, the company said.

Employees from the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Canada and Australia are participating in a variety of informative and team building events designed to share their accomplishments and connect with thought leaders across the business. The activities include coding challenges, capability tours, and engineering and technology competitions and seminars. The celebration is part of a US national event organized by the National Society of Professional Engineers.

L3Harris´ EWeek recognizes and celebrates the achievements of the company´s 20,000 engineers and scientists who make up about 40 percent of the company´s workforce. A key component of EWeek includes fostering a new generation of engineers. The company has invited university students involved in regional Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) programs to participate in select events with company engineers, including touring company campuses.

L3Harris engineers also are visiting local schools to highlight careers in STEM. company employees annually support various STEM activities including student mentoring, robotics challenges and other related competitions.
