Kika Tech introduces app to support Apple-style emojis on Android

Kika Tech said it has launched a new application Emoji Plus with native support for Unicode 7.0 and 8.0 emojis.

Emoji Plus is the first application that enables Samsung users to receive and send latest Apple-style emojis.

On October 21, Apple released iOS 9.1 with over 150 new emoji characters with full support for Unicode 7.0 and 8.0 emojis, including the most discussed taco, unicorn, and middle finger. Android users who received those new emojis from their iOS counterparts will just see a box. It would be frustrating experience for Android users since emojis are becoming a cultural norm of communication. Google´s SVP Android Hiroshi Lockheimer tweeted October 23 that he and his team are working to get the new emojis onto Android.

Just as Google, Kika Tech is staying on top of things and quickly launches Emoji Plus, the first application that enables Android users to receive and send latest Apple-style emojis on Samsung devices.
