Jacksonville business unit of Kaman Aerosystems has secured a contract extension for the E-2D and C-2A Outer Wing Panel Program, the company said.
The extension is for an additional three years (2015-2018) with an expected value of over USD 11 million for the fabrication and supply of sheet metal and extrusion parts to CPI Aerostructures, Inc.
All parts delivered by Kaman are manufactured at its Kaman Aerosystems facility in Jacksonville, Florida. These sheet metal and extrusion-fabricated parts are integral to support the assembly of the E-2D´s and C-2A´s outer wing panels. CPI kits the parts provided by Kaman and others and then provides the parts to Northrop Grumman Corp.
Kaman´s relationship with CPI on these programs date back to 2008.
