JetSuiteX is commemorating its first year of public charter service by donating USD 25,000 worth of JetSuiteX seats to Angel Flight West to help provide air travel to individuals with serious medical conditions, the company said.
The donation translates to transportation for 100 patients in NorCal, SoCal and Nevada to their treatments at some of the nation´s best medical facilities aboard JetSuiteX.
JetSuiteX also supported the Earth Angel ground transportation initiative by donating a Napa Valley air and ground travel package worth more than USD 2,500 to the Endeavor Awards silent auction. All proceeds from the auction donation will go to assisting patients with ground transportation to and from the flights and their treatment locations.
JetSuiteX operates in and out of private hangars and terminals, combining the benefits of the private ground experience with the scheduled service and by-the-seat booking of commercial air travel. The carrier operates regularly scheduled air travel service between LA (Burbank), the Bay Area (East Bay/Concord), and Las Vegas, with multiple flights daily (excluding Saturdays) starting at USD 99 each way.
Angel Flight West uses donated flights to serve those with healthcare or other compelling human needs. It links volunteer pilots and commercial airlines with people whose non-emergency health needs require air transportation to access care. On the ground, volunteer drivers ferry passengers to and from their departure and destination airports. The costs of all flights are donated.
