JetBlue returns to pre-Hurricane Maria levels service to Puerto Rico

JetBlue has announced it has returned its full flight schedule to Puerto Rico following 2017 Hurricane Maria, the company said.

The return to full capacity is happening six months ahead of schedule.

JetBlue says there are 48 flights per day between the United States in Puerto Rico. The airline is the island´s largest carrier.

To support the increase in service, JetBlue has hired 50 new crew members for its San Juan operations. Along with JetBlue´s nearly 500 crew base in Puerto Rico, the airline will support its 48 daily flights between Puerto Rico and 13 cities in the US and the Caribbean.

JetBlue Airways is New York´s Hometown Airline and a leading carrier in Boston, Fort Lauderdale, Los Angeles, Orlando and San Juan. The airline carries more than 40 million customers a year to 102 cities in the US, Caribbean, and Latin America with an average of 1,000 daily flights.
