JetBlue April 2017 traffic increases 8.2% compared to April 2016

JetBlue Airways Corporation (NASDAQ:JBLU) has reported traffic in April 2017 increased 8.2% from April 2016, on a capacity increase of 6.6%, the airline said.

Load factor for April 2017 was 85.3%, an increase of 1.2 points from April 2016.

The carrier´s preliminary completion factor was 98.5% and its on-time performance was 72.4%.

JetBlue continues to expect second quarter revenue per available seat mile (RASM) to increase between 3.0 and 6.0% compared to the second quarter of 2016.

JetBlue carries more than 38 million customers a year to 101 cities in the U.S., Caribbean, and Latin America with an average of 1,000 daily flights.
