Jet2.com to cancel UK/Spain flights after quarantine ruling

Reuters has reported budget airline Jet2.com has suspended flights from the UK to four destinations in Spain, following the UK governments ruling that British holiday makers returning to the country need to quarantine for two weeks, the news source said.

The airline said following the government´s advice regarding travel to mainland Spain from the UK, it is cancelling flights and holidays programme to Costa de Almeria, Alicante, Malaga and Murcia from 28 July through 16 August.

Jet2.com, owned by Dart Group, said it was also suspending flights from Britain to Faro in Portugal until 16 August.
