JAL introduces seat maps identifying seating of babies, toddlers

Japan Airlines (JAL) has announced the introduction of a seating map that allows passengers to identify where infants are seated, the company said.

The map offers a new feature that allows passengers to see where babies and toddlers are seated when booking seats on flights.

For passengers traveling with babies, a child icon will be displayed on their seats on the seat selection screen after they book their tickets. Those who prefer to avoid seats behind or beside toddlers can select accordingly.

Japan Airlines said passengers traveling with children between 8 days and 2 years old who select their seats on the JAL website will have a child icon displayed on their seats on the seat selection screen.
