Israeli Supreme Court rejects Golan Telecom appeal

Cellcom Israel Ltd. (NYSE: CEL) (TASE: CEL) has reported the Israeli Supreme Court has rejected the previously reported Golan Telecom request to appeal the interim injunction granted at the request of the company by the District Court against the consummation of the Golan Telecom – Hot Mobile Ltd. agreement, the company said.

Cellcom Israel Ltd., established in 1994, is a large Israeli cellular provider. Cellcom Israel provides its approximately 2.812 million cellular subscribers (as of June 30, 2016) with value added services including cellular telephony, roaming services for tourists in Israel and for its subscribers abroad and additional services in the areas of music, video, mobile office etc., based on Cellcom Israel´s infrastructure.
