International Business Systems appoints company's first chief customer officer

Supply chain solution provider International Business Systems (IBS) has introduced Graham Newland as the company´s first-ever Chief Customer Officer.

In this new role, Newland will oversee all customer service functions, including professional services, managed cloud services and support, and IT — all previously split across distinct departments. The reorganization under Newland aims to consolidate customer support under one leader to enhance the quality of customer care.

Newland has held several executive and senior operational leadership roles for global and multinational companies in the supply chain industry. Prior to joining IBS, Newland was Senior Vice President at i2, and has previously held senior operational roles at both Manugistics and Torex.
