Intermolecular Q4 2015 revenue up 17% YoY

Intermolecular, Inc. (NASDAQ: IMI) said its fourth quarter 2015 revenue was USD13.5 million, up 17 percent compared to USD11.5 million in the prior quarter.

Program revenue was USD10.5 million, up 21 percent compared to USD8.7 million in the prior quarter. Licensing and royalty revenue was USD3.0 million, up 4 percent compared to USD2.8 million in the prior quarter.

Non-GAAP net loss for the fourth quarter was USD(1.1) million, or USD(0.02) per share. This compared with non-GAAP net loss of USD(4.7) million, or USD(0.10) per share in the prior quarter. GAAP net loss for the fourth quarter was USD(1.9) million, or USD(0.04) per share, compared to net loss of USD(5.8) million, or USD(0.12) per share in the prior quarter.

For the year ended December 31, 2015, revenue was USD45.8 million compared to revenue of USD47.7 million in 2014. Net loss for 2015 was USD(20.4) million, or USD(0.42) per share, compared with a net loss of USD(21.8) million, or USD(0.47) per share, for 2014.

Non-GAAP net loss for the year ended December 31, 2015 was USD(14.8) million, or USD(0.31) per share. This compared with non-GAAP net loss of USD(14.4) million, or USD(0.31) per share, for 2014.
