Intelsat S.A. (NYSE: I), operator of the world´s first Globalized Network and provider of integrated satellite communications, has announced that its indirect wholly owned subsidiary, Intelsat Jackson Holdings S.A., has priced a private offering of its 8.500% senior notes due 2024, the company said.
The aggregate principal amount of the Notes to be issued in the offering has been increased from an initially contemplated USD 2.0 billion to USD 2.25 billion.
As previously announced, in connection with the offering of the Notes, Intelsat Jackson expects to launch a tender offer for any and all of its outstanding 7.25% Senior Notes due 2020 (the “2020 Senior Notes”), which is expected to close substantially concurrently with the issuance of the Notes.
The offering of the Notes is expected to close on 19 September 2018, subject to customary conditions.
