Intelsat announces Q1 2017 results

Intelsat S.A. (NYSE: I), operator of a globalized network and satellite communications, has reported total revenue of USD 538.5m and net loss attributable to Intelsat S.A. of USD 34.6m for the three months ended March 31, 2017, the company said.

Intelsat reported EBITDA gain on early extinguishment of debt, taxes and depreciation and amortization, of USD 398.1m and adjusted EBITDA of USD 409.8 million, or 76 percent of revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2017.

Intelsat combines satellite backbone with terrestrial infrastructure, managed services and an open, interoperable architecture to enable customers to drive revenue and reach through a new generation of network services. Thousands of organizations serving billions of people worldwide rely on Intelsat to provide ubiquitous broadband connectivity, multi-format video broadcasting, secure satellite communications and seamless mobility services.
