Minister of State for Civil Aviation Jayant Sinha has proposed a grievance platform that could enable aggrieved fliers to file their complaints directly on a designated portal, the organization said.
The complaints from passengers received through the portal will be sent directly to the nodal officer of the airline or airport operator concerned, who will have to redress the grievances in a time-bound manner.
The Ministry of Civil Aviation of Government of India is responsible for the formulation of national policies and programmes for development and regulation of civil aviation and for devising and implementing schemes for the orderly growth and expansion of civil air transport.
