iGov partners with NIKSUN to provide technology for DISA JRSS

iGov has partnered with NIKSUN to support the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) by providing a turn-key capability to satisfy DISA Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) requirements for full packet capture (FPCAP), analysis and retention, the companies said.

iGov received a Delivery Order through its SEWP V (Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement) contract to provide FPCAP products and associated services on December 15, 2015 in support of the DISA Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) requirement.

DISA, partnering with the US Army and Air Force, has fundamentally changed the way the DoD secures and protects its information networks by deploying JRSSs. A JRSS is a suite of equipment that performs firewall functions, intrusion detection and prevention, enterprise management, virtual routing and forwarding (VRF), and provides a host of network security capabilities.

NIKSUN develops a highly scalable array of real time and forensics-based cyber security and network performance management solutions for government & intelligence agencies, service providers, financial services companies, and large enterprises such as retailers and manufacturers.
