UK-based Ideagen PlC has announced it has entered into a long-term contract agreement with Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL), a California constructor and operator of planetary robotic spacecraft, responsible for operating NASA´s Deep Space Network, the company said.
Ideagen has a close relationship with the US Institute of Internal Auditors, which means companies using the Pentana software have the comfort of knowing their audits are being done to the standards expected by the Institute and comply with the guidance it issues.
JPL operates in a highly sensitive and regulated environment and the need for security and top-quality governance processes is paramount. Ideagen´s Pentana Audit solution offered the lab the benefits of leading software together with the flexibility of both cloud-based and on-premise data storage options.
JPL is a federally funded research and development centre managed for NASA by the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). The lab´s current major projects include the Mars Science Laboratory mission (which includes the Curiosity rover), the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and the Juno spacecraft orbiting Jupiter.
