Ravn Air Group has announced that following the completion of the IATA operational safety audit, Corvus Airlines (d/b/a Ravn Alaska), has been added to the IOSA Registry, the company said.
Ravn Alaska completed its on-site IATA Safety audit on May 4th, 2018 was notified by IATA that the audit had been officially accepted and closed out.
With the completion of the IOSA certification process, Ravn has officially become an IOSA-registered operator. Ravn Alaska is only the 35th airline in the US to achieve this standard.
IATA´s IOSA program is an internationally recognized and accepted evaluation system designed to assess an air carrier´s management systems, processes, and controls against approximately 900 standards and recommended practices across eight separate organizational disciplines.
Ravn Air Group plans to have its other subsidiary airline, Hageland Aviation LLC (d/b/a Ravn Connect), undertake its ISSA (IATA Standard Safety Audit) early next year. This could make Ravn Connect the only FAA Part 135 airline in the United States to become registered under the new IATA safety program for single engine aircraft carriers.
Ravn Air Group is Alaska´s largest regional airline. Ravn operates a highly reliable fleet of almost 70 aircraft on more than 400 flights per day (almost 3,000 flights a week).
