DDB New York, part of Omnicom Group (NYSE: OMC), said it has been selected by Huawei Device USA, a leading global information and communications technology solutions provider, to be its advertising agency of record.
DDB New York´s scope of work will cover strategic, creative and media functions to generate awareness for the Huawei brand and introduce its innovative product portfolio to the US market.
The initial assignment focused on the development of a fully integrated marketing campaign, including the formation of a strategic platform, integrated creative content, and media strategy and buying, to launch the company´s first smartwatch, Huawei Watch, in the US The campaign broke September 2015.
The agency selection follows a competitive review among various integrated agencies.
