Hawaiian suspends flights to Tokyo Haneda

Hawaiian Airlines has announced a suspension of flights from Hawaii to Tokyo´s Haneda International airport as a result of a decline in demand for capacity to Asia in the face of COVID-10 virus, the company said.

Hawaiian Air suspended flights between Hawaii and South Korea´s Seoul Incheon International airport on 26 February.

Hawaiian says that beginning on 28 March it will temporarily suspend thrice-weekly service between Kona and Haneda, as well as four-times-weekly service between Honolulu and Haneda, with suspensions expected to last until the end of April.

When the flights continue, Hawaiian said it plans to offer 42 weekly connections between Hawaii and Japan.
