Hawaiian Airlines, Inc., a subsidiary of Hawaiian Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: HA) has reported
passengers transported in August 2019 were 1,062,375, compared to 1,021,383 in August 2018, an increase of 4%, the company said.
August 2019 capacity, measured in revenue passenger miles (RPMs) were 1,601,769, a 2.8% increase compared with 1,558,394 RPMs in August 2018.
Available seat miles in August 2019 were 1,812,484, a decrease of (1.9)%, compared with 1,847,326 in August 2018.
August 2019 load factor was 88.4%, compared to 84.4% in August 2018, an increase of 4.0 pts.
Hawaiian has led all US carriers in on-time performance for each of the past 15 years (2004-2018) as reported by the US Department of Transportation. Now in its 90th year of continuous service, Hawaiian is Hawai´i´s biggest and longest-serving airline. Hawaiian offers non-stop service to Hawai´i from more US gateway cities (13) than any other airline, along with service from Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand, American Samoa and Tahiti.
