Pacific Business News has reported Hawaiian Airlines has begun renovations in the lobby of Honolulu´s Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, the company said.
The airline began installing 54 new check-in kiosks to replace 48 existing ones. The work is expected to take about a month.
The new kiosks signal a series of updates that the airline will make at HNL over the next two years. Additional changes include new counters for guest services, baggage drop and premium check-in. The lobby also will provide access to the forthcoming Mauka Concourse, which is projected to be completed in 2021.
Of Hawaiian Airlines´ daily average of 32,000 customers, about 19,000 either begin or end their travel at HNL.
