Hasegawa hotel & resort Co., Ltd. has tied up with Tiger Air Taiwan (head office: Taipei, Taiwan), the first LCC (low cost carrier) in Taiwan, aiming to provide a cheaper and more comfortable trip to customers using Kansai International Airport (Kanku) and Haneda Airport, the company said.

Japan and Taiwan have become mutually popular as a travel destination for each other. Accordingly, Tiger Air Taiwan announced an increased flight schedule for 2017 summer and decided to run a campaign, offering free accommodation in Y´s Cabin Osaka Namba and Y´s Cabin Yokohama Kannai, which both have high values as a base for trips to Japan.
In the Osaka area, customers who use Kanku as a base of travel can use the hotel bath facilities to relieve travel fatigue. In the Tokyo area, customers who arrive or depart in the morning can use the facilities to prepare and refresh themselves.
Tiger Air Taiwan now flies to nine cities in Japan (Kanku, Haneda, Narita, Naha, Fukuoka, Chubu, Sendai, Okayama, Hakodate) and plans to further increase its low-cost flights connecting Japan and Taiwan. Hasegawa hotel & resort will open two more budget hotels in the Osaka area within the year, and also have plans in Naha, Ishigakijima, Asahikawa and Sapporo.

Hasegawa hotel & resort opened new cabin hotels for travelers in Namba, Osaka and Kannai, Yokohama. Both hotels are within one-minute walk from the nearest station and offer home-like comfort and security. Plenty of amenities for women are available in the individual rooms separated by gender. The rooms are more affordable than normal hotels but more comfortable than capsule hotels. Customers can use them as a low-cost accommodation for travel or a one-night stay after a late night´s work.
Tiger Air Taiwan is Taiwan´s first low cost carrier (LCC) based at Taoyuan International Airport.
