China-based Hainan Airlines has announced it plans to launch two weekly non-stop flights between Shenzhen and Vancouver, the company said.
The service will be the first non-stop international route connecting Shenzhen and a city in Canada.
A luxury Boeing 787-9 wide-body aircraft with a spacious and comfortable cabin layout will service the new routes.
Hainan Airlines now operates non-stop services between Shenzhen and Auckland, Brisbane, Brussels, Cairns, Madrid, Paris, Vienna and Zurich. The airline now operates 19 routes with destinations in North America
