Hainan Airlines said it has marked the successful inaugural flight of its Beijing-Prague route, the first nonstop service between China and the Czech Republic.
After the aircraft arrived at the gate, Hainan Airlines held a brief welcoming ceremony at Vaclav Havel Airport Prague, with guests including Czech Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka and Chinese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ma Keqing in attendance.
The new route is Hainan Airlines´ seventh European route following Beijing-Brussels, Beijing-Berlin, Beijing-Moscow, Beijing-St. Petersburg, Hangzhou-Xi´an-Paris and Chongqing-Rome.
Hainan Airlines Co., Ltd., founded in January 1993, is one of the world´s seven SKYTRAX five-star airlines. It has a young luxury fleet mainly composed of Boeing 737s, 787s and Airbus 330s. The airline has, to date, opened over 600 inbound and outbound routes connecting passengers to more than 90 cities around the world, with comprehensive coverage across China and extending into Asia, Europe and North America.
