Grandstream IP Voice solutions certified with GenBand

Grandstream, a unified communication solutions provider, and GenBand, a provider of real time communications software solutions, have announced the certification of Grandstream´s Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions with GenBand´s Application Server, the companies said.

This successful certification allows any service provider or enterprise using GenBand´s Application Server (standalone or in combination with the C20 Session Controller) to deploy Grandstream´s award-winning VoIP telephony solutions. By combining Grandstream solutions with GenBand´s state-of-the-art platform, service providers and enterprises are afforded a cost-effective VoIP solution that seamlessly integrates video, data and mobility capabilities.

The Grandstream products tested and certified include the robust GXP series of IP phones, the revolutionary GXV series of IP Video Phones for Androidâ„¢, the DP series of DECT cordless IP phones, the world-renowned HT series of Analog Telephone Adapters (ATAs) and the GXW series of VoIP gateways. The testing process included GenBand´s Session Border Controller to secure the sessions and anchor media. As a result of the solution-wide testing, the Grandstream devices are now also certified with GenBand´s Session Border Controller.
