GOL Linhas Aereas Inteligentes S.A. (BM&FBOVESPA: GOLL4 and NYSE: GOL) said domestic demand grew by 4.7 percent in the second quarter of 2015 and 4.8 percent in the first half of 2015, bringing the load factor to 78.0 percent, an increase of 2.0 p.p. in the quarter and 78.5 percent, an increase of 2.1 p.p. year to date, compared to the same periods of 2014. During the quarter, the total load factor expanded by 1.6 p.p., reaching 76.8 percent.
GOL was the airline leader in on time performance in Brazil in the second quarter and in the first half 2015, reaching 96.53 percent and 95.32 percent, respectively.
The company also maintained its leadership in the number of tickets issued in the corporate sector, with 32.4 percent of share in the first half of the year, representing an increase of 16.6 percent in the total number of tickets sold in the country, compared to the same period last year.
The company´s net revenue reached RUSD2.1 billion, a 10.5 percent decline compared to the same period in 2014 — reflecting the country´s economic activity slowdown.
