Flying an Airbus will now be the next step in the career progression of many GoJet Airlines pilots, the company said.
GoJet has entered into a Pilot Pathway Program with Airbus operator Spirit Airlines that will guarantee GoJet pilots a First Officer position at Spirit in as little as two years. GoJet pilots who are accepted into the Pathway Program will be eligible to transition to Spirit after two years of service.
Current GoJet pilots with the requisite time in service will be eligible to apply for this program immediately, while new hire pilots may apply as soon as they have completed training.
GoJet Airlines is a premier regional carrier operating as United Express and Delta Connection. GoJet flies the Bombardier CRJ700 and CRJ900, two of the youngest and most technologically advanced regional jets in the industry.
GoJet serves over 4.5 million passengers annually, with more than 240 daily flights providing service to over 60 destinations. It is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, and has crew bases in Chicago, Denver, Detroit, Raleigh-Durham and St. Louis.
