Globetouch announces new CEO

Globetouch, a provider of global connectivity services for the connected car and the Internet of Things (IoT), has announced that Alfredo de Cárdenas has been appointed CEO of Globetouch, Inc., the company said.

Prior to being appointed CEO, de Cárdenas served as Globetouch´s COO.

Built on an ecosystem of mobile operator networks, Globetouch offers seamless connectivity by enabling infrastructure and a mobile operator ecosystem. The company provides global cellular connectivity for IoT and M2M services with 400+ network operations in over 180 countries through one connection serving multiple vertical markets, including automotive, heavy industry and IT manufacturers.

Before joining Globetouch, de Cárdenas held numerous executive roles including Chief Commercial Officer at Sabre Travel Network, COO at Syniverse Technologies, and General Manager of Converged Multimedia Networks at Nortel Networks. As COO at Syniverse Technologies, he oversaw the organization´s cloud-based mobility services and strategies including roaming, messaging, real-time intelligence, and network lines of business.
