Technology company GLOBAL Technologies has signed a multi-year contract with Eutelsat Communications (Paris:ETL) (NYSE Euronext Paris: ETL) for C-band capacity on the EUTELSAT 8 West B satellite in order to upgrade the mobile and Internet network of Mattel, a subsidiary of Tunisie Télécom and Mauritania´s leading mobile operator, the company said.
In order to deliver improved Internet access and service quality, particularly in areas isolated from terrestrial networks, Mattel is calling on the expertise of the GLOBAL Technologies Group to overhaul its VSAT network.
