According to a new report from New York-based business search engine Reportlinker.com the performance of the global air freight sector is forecast to accelerate with an anticipated CAGR of 1.6% for the five-year period 2012 — 2017.
This is expected to drive the sector to a value of USD 130.378.1m by the end of 2017
The report added that the sector is expected to generate total revenues of USD 120,582m in 2012 representing a compound annual growth rate of 0.4% between 2008 and 2012.
Sector consumption volumes are forecast to increase with a CAGR of 0.4% between 2008 and 2012, to reach a total of 198,035.7m FTK in 2012.
This sector, which saw large declines in the wake of the global financial crisis, will face a slow but steady return to health in the years ahead.
