The company said it identified average end-user customers have limited deep technical knowledge, leading to uneducated purchasing decision as many consumers are inclined to purchase memory based only on capacity and price. The new packaging categories memory products relative to performance with an associated specification sheet presenting the ideal usage for each product. The new packaging has been applied to all Gigastone generic products and will be applied to all future memory products.
