General Dynamics names new president of Land Systems

General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) has announced that General Dynamics Land Systems´ president Gary L. Whited will retire effective April 1, 2020 and will be succeeded by Danny Deep, current chief operating officer, the company said.

Whited has been with General Dynamics for 23 years and his ability to align the company with the customer needs has ensured that the company is well positioned for the future to deliver market leading products to the US military and its allies.

General Dynamics Land Systems is a business unit of General Dynamics, a global aerospace and defense company headquartered in Reston, Virginia. General Dynamics employs more than 100,000 people worldwide and generated USD 36.2 billion in revenue in 2018.
