Fuze, the cloud-based communications provider for the modern global enterprise, has announced that it has been awarded a new patent for advanced systems and methods for intelligently joining a meeting, providing a more streamlined meetings experience, the company said.
The US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) issued Fuze US Patent No. 10572859B1 on February 25, 2020. The invention simplifies the effort to join a Fuze meeting with automated configuration that utilizes a confidence score, working to automatically identify guests and users. Conventional techniques for joining a conference call require a user to perform several tasks, including confirming identification numbers, entering registration codes, and/or identifying themselves through a series of audio prompts.
These time-consuming and manual tasks are mitigated with this invention, ultimately simplifying the process of joining a meeting or call and limiting the potential for user error.
