Freedom Airlines has announced it will operate two daily flights from Wilson Airport in Nairobi to Garissa in Kenya, the company said.
The airlines said the company, which operates a 50-seater plane, decided to increase the frequency of the flights following the growing demand for air travel. The company also operates similar flights to and from Wajir, Mandera, Eldoret, Mombasa, Moyale, Takaba, Elwak and major towns in neighboring Somalia.
Garissa said the initiative will attract more local and foreign investors to the region.
