Fonality has reported record revenue growth and profitability for the year ending December 31, 2015, the company said.
The 11-year-old company has successfully harnessed the power of cloud-hosted services, transforming its business model in recent years. Once rooted in more traditional PBX systems — large, capital, more than 85 percent of the company´s 2015 revenue came from subscriptions. It also sold more than 22,000 new seats.
The company also reported 99.6 percent customer retention (0.4 percent net churn) for the fourth quarter of 2015.
Fonality provides unified phone systems and applications for businesses. It provides communication tools, such as employee presence, drag and drop calls, voicemail to email or text, mobility, chat, click-to-email, screen share, and HD video collaboration solutions for internal communication; and contact center solutions for automatic call distribution, skills-based routing, real-time metrics, unlimited queues, and on-demand call recording, as well as barge, monitor, and whisper.
