Mesa Airlines, Inc. has announced the return of Paul Foley to the company´s executive management team, the airline said.
Foley will serve as Executive Vice President, and will oversee Flight Operations Recruitment, Training, Safety/Security, Crew Planning and Aircraft Scheduling. Foley will work closely with Chief Operating Officer John Selvaggio, maintaining the company´s relationships with United Airlines and American Airlines.
Foley brings over 34 years of airline management experience to this role. He recently served as Chief Executive Officer at Retrix Aviation, and previously as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Mesa Airlines from October 2008 through March 2016. He holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a B.S. from Cornell University.
Phoenix-based Mesa Airlines operates as American Eagle from hubs in Phoenix and Dallas/Fort Worth and as United Express from Washington Dulles and Houston. The carrier currently operates 133 aircraft, with more than 600 daily system departures to 124 cities, 38 states, the District of Columbia, Canada, Mexico, and the Bahamas. The airline will add 17 additional Embraer 175 aircraft to its fleet in 2017. The company has approximately 3,100 employees and plans to hire an additional 1,000 in the next two years.
