FAA lifts Turkish airline flight restrictions

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has lifted the restrictions on flight arrivals from Turkey, the administration said.

Following political unrest in the country on Friday, the FAA barred all airline carriers, regardless of country of registry, from flying into the United States from Turkey, either directly or via a third country.

All scheduled Turkish Airlines flights to the US resumed, starting July 18 with a Turkish Airlines´ flight from Istanbul to New York.
