ExpressJet pilots vote to ratify contract extensions

ExpressJet Airlines, a wholly owned subsidiary of SkyWest, Inc. (NASDAQ: SKYW), said its pilots have voted to ratify two-year contract extensions to its existing agreements.

The agreement provides many improvements for our pilots, including: first year pay rate of USD37-40 per hour, pending equipment type; USD1.85 per hour per diem on date of signing, increased to USD1.90 per hour on date of signing + 18 months; raises at all pay scale rates; and an enhanced profit sharing program that guarantees USD1,000 per pilot for 2016 and USD1,500 per pilot for 2017.

The agreement runs through February 2018 and covers all of ExpressJet´s nearly 4,000 pilots.

Headquartered in Atlanta, ExpressJet Airlines has 8,500 aviation professionals, an average of 1,476 daily flights, and an all-jet fleet of 308 aircraft.
