Everstream, the business-only fiber network, has announced that it has completed its purchase of a 200-plus-mile Indianapolis-based fiber network and CLEC operation from DataBank, a provider of enterprise-class data center, connectivity and managed services, the company said.
The fiber network and CLEC assets originally owned by LightBound were purchased by DataBank.
The purchase is part of Everstream´s strategy to provide reliable, high-bandwidth connectivity to enterprises in the Indianapolis metro area and throughout the Midwest. With the deal´s close, Everstream is immediately able to provide connectivity in more than 75 lit buildings in Indianapolis as well as the western suburbs of Avon, Brownsburg and Plainfield.
In October 2019, Everstream announced its entry into the Indianapolis market with the acquisition and planned buildout of a network that will total 800 route miles.
