Everbridge, Inc. (NASDAQ: EVBG), the global provider of critical event management and enterprise safety software applications to help keep people safe and businesses running, has announced it has received a FedRAMP moderate authority to operate (ATO) through its sponsoring federal agency for the deployment of its core Everbridge suite of products, the company said.
This marks a significant milestone for Everbridge to becoming FedRAMP certified. Everbridge´s sponsoring agency and third-party assessment organization (3PAO) have determined that the company has met the standards for the 325 controls in 17 families that comprise the FedRAMP requirements. Currently, the FedRAMP Program Management Office (PMO) is in the process of reviewing Everbridge´s FedRAMP documentation.
This is the final step before FedRAMP Authorization, which is an indication by the FedRAMP PMO that Everbridge has met the standards for the 325 controls sufficiently to be generally acceptable to any federal agency.
This ATO certifies that Everbridge has passed the rigorous federal security and risk management review process required to offer its core suite of products to a federal agency. Everbridge currently serves such US government agencies as the Department of Defense, the Department of Justice, the Environmental Protection Agency, and the Social Security Administration, among many others. These agencies depend on Everbridge products to quickly and reliably aggregate and assess threat data, to locate people at risk and responders able to assist, and to automate and accelerate their organizations´ operational response to critical events.
