Mobile and social ticketing provider Evento and the Shubert Organization have expanded their existing post-purchase activation initiative by agreeing to roll out their successful integration across all active shows, the companies said.
In a successful pilot program via a seamless integration between Evento and the Shubert Organization´s internal ticketing system, Telecharge, the Shubert Organization has been delivering post-purchase calls to action via confirmation emails to their online purchasers since early November 2015. Using Evento´s technology, purchasers are able to download an exclusive coupon that can be shared with the others attending who did not register or purchase the tickets.
To obtain the coupon, which is redeemable on show day, the non-purchasers must register via www.telecharge.com. This pilot campaign has allowed the Shubert Organization to learn more about their customers and is rapidly growing their marketable database.
The Shubert Organization owns and operates seventeen Broadway theatres and six off-Broadway venues. Shubert Ticketing and Telecharge.com provide every segment of the entertainment industry with a single source for all its ticketing needs – box office sales, telephone sales, internet sales, season and subscription sales, group sales and more.
Evento has been developing mobile and social ticketing platforms for entertainment and sports firms and franchises since 2011. By integrating via API with Evento´s intuitive, flexible solutions, customers have seen up to a 300 percent increase in mobile ticket sales. The company´s clients include more than 30 sports and entertainment properties world-wide, and five primary and secondary ticketing providers.
