ECI, a global provider of ELASTIC Network solutions, together with Ericsson, has been selected by Danish E-learning Cooperation (DeiC) to provide a new, optical network for the Danish national research and education network (NREN), the company said.
The advanced network will feature ECI´s Apollo 9608 high speed optical transport solution coupled with local Ericsson service and support.
This network will replace the current national backbone research network infrastructure across Denmark.
ECI is a global provider of ELASTIC network solutions to CSPs, critical infrastructures as well as data center operators.
Ericsson provides communications technology and services. Founded in 1876, it has headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.
